It’s Done! And it’s Right! . . . i think
You dear, kind readers, who have graciously followed me from the beginning of this little blog. Thank you for being here. Thank you for letting me think, ‘I’ve got to get this fixed, they’re waiting on me.’
THIS WEEK AND LAST HAVE BEEN HELL!!
Well, not personally, my guy and I’ve had a rather nice two weeks.
BUT. . . I have had electronic issues. Computer issues. Mother board and hard drive issues. Then, memory issues. Hosting issues. Web technician issues. Server issues.
If it wouldn’t scare the neighbors or get me arrested, I’d run up and down the street naked screaming like a mad woman.
Actually, here in the ghetto, I probably could.
It began two weeks ago with my seven-month-old laptop– an Inspiron, i7, 64-bit, Windows 8 Touch (not cheap– at least, for me). You know the little dots that spin when logging in? Continued endlessly spinning. Staples kept it a week, called and said everything was dead, all of my data may be lost, and I should call the manufacturer. It’s now headed to the computer hospital via FedEx. And I’m on my ancient XP.
The next day, issues began with my web host and service technician. I won’t bore you with the details, but there were some control issues. My guy said, ‘I don’t think he’s learned that the customer gets what the customer wants, regardless of his opinion.’ Also, you may have noticed some of the emails you’ve received were signed by someone other than myself.
I am a baby blog. There’s no one here but me.
I went to see Revenflo. They’re great, but I knew they were expensive. They create sites for corporations and hospitals. People with deep pockets. They suggested the Hive Business Center. It’s run by York Tech.
I met with them, we began migrating the site so I would be in total control, and after three days of reworking almost everything . . . IT”S BACK!
The Hive is exactly what a little person like me needs. Smart college kids and a professor/mentor helping small businesses and little people. Get this . . . for $10 an hour. It’s a super WIN!
The post I sent out Monday disappeared in the transfer. I’ll catch up tomorrow.
Since there is no picture appropriate to this post, I’m going to share with you the view our friends in Montana have out their front door of Lake Mary Ronan.
Right now, I’m going to go have a glass of wine and pretend I’m sitting on the dock looking out over that lake. It’s been a long week.
Like these affairs? Please share them!

Thank you! I appreciate you telling your friend, too. I don’t feel like I’m such an online orphan. 🙂 oxoxo
Hang in there, Susan – it can only go up from here (or so they say) LOL. The Montana view is beautiful, and good for you that you’ve found something positive to focus on.
We’ve faith in you – hang onnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your kind encouragement. It was a bit bizarre there for a while. Love you back:).
